    Anyone know about the chicken laws for Columbus GA? I live In Muscogee

    I'm going to resurrect this thread because I'm from Columbus but will be transplanting to Talbot Cty and I can't find a single thing online about keeping chickens out there. Here in Columbus though I do believe you can have chickens, just not sure the number or how much land you have to have.

    I'm glad I found this. I'm originally from Columbus but will be moving to Woodland, GA in Talbot County soon, so I'm trying desperately to find out if I can have chickens there. I have no chickens now, but want to once we get moved and settled in.

    We haven't yet gotten any chickens (I'm trying to drag my husband away from the ratrods to build a coop for me. ) but we have this interesting bush in my front yard that I would swear could attract every fly within a 10 mile range. I have no idea what kind of bush it is, but it's coming up soon...

    Thanks! I remember going to Albany a lot a few years ago to play Magic: The Gathering tournaments, since Columbus was so close by. Seems like that was forever ago.
