If it turns out to be a rooster, the lighter ones are desired and maybe you should keep it for breeding stock. Mine was not that cream colored, but he was the lightest rooster in the bunch and has turned out to be beautiful.

I have 2 SLW hens, one with a rose comb, one with a single comb. I bought both of these birds before I knew about the breed. Is the single comb hen a mix? Or can they have single combs? Going to breed them, but don't want to mix the breed. Thanks!
