My chicken coop is a 12'x12' dog pen with chicken wire around the bottom. Some shelving and sled dog box, which all the hens lay there eggs in. It has a perch and some tree branches that they like to sit on. I covered the top with wire and a tarp for shade and protection from the rain and coyotes.

I bought 6 leghorn hens chicks at tractor supply. Well they are the most friendliest hens. They greet me when i show up to feed, and they let me pet each and everyone of them. They follow me everywhere. I just love them.
