    We started 6 Silkie eggs on April 10th and so far three have hatched, all black. One hatched yesterday and two today.

    I'm thinking of putting bags of heated rice into the incubator but I don't know if that's a good idea or not.

    We are hatching Silkie eggs. We have one hatched chick and five unhatched eggs, it's day 21. An hour ago we took the chick out and put him in the brooder because he was pecking at the other eggs. Now our Little Giant incubator is at 79 degrees and falling and the humidity is 82%. What do I do?
