    Peachick still off

    Hi all think i posted about it a couple weeks ago now- But my peachick hes still the same no improvement (lethargic, struggling to stay warm, slow) its been almost a month, taken him to a vet they just gave me stuff to treat worms and antibiotics but he still holds his head tucked to his body...

    I think he definitely needs wo in been monitoring him and hasnt put alot of weight on hes very light..

    We used to buy feed from pets at home so they have a crumble feed the brand was dodson and horrell

    So am i feeding them the wrong things? I thought they needed a variety or am i giving them too much of a variety?

    No outside we bring them inside in the evening and in the mornings they go out in their runner. We tried crumble feed but i think they found it boring

    Feed thats got a mixture of different seeds, mealworms, rice, pasta, veggies like lettuce, and obviously whatever else they get from foraging aswell. But id say when we first started them off they would only eat mealworms which i heard is only really supposed to be like a treat for them rather...

    Okay thanks ill try that. Im using a treatment soon that is a solution which contains a 3 in 1 so its for coccid, worms, parasites so hopefully thatll do the trick

    Hi all so we have 2 peachicks they're a pair weve been lucky with. This is our first time raising peafowl and i dont know but the boy seems off hes always puffed up and walks around like this on the photo- hes the one on the right. He has been treated for coccid but maybe i needed to prelong...
