Help! I have a hen that is limping and I don’t know why. Yesterday she seemed fine. For now we are allowing her to continue free-ranging with the flock, as usually this time of day they just lay around in the shade anyway.

Hasn’t been laying for maybe a year...
That’s awesome! 😎
Kinda how it went for my girl Dot. And also the fact that she had a dot on her head. 😊 You can see in the first picture I posted of them as chicks in their box on this forum: Scuby is the d’uccle in the bottom right corner (literally) and Dot is right above him. So cute to...
Awww. 🥰 So cute. Also love that name. 😄 Yes, at that stage they look so funny. Savor it while it’s here, though! Mine grew so fast! (I suppose they all do.)
Thank you. 💕
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention another loss (the first one, actually) which was my girl Millie (guess what breed she was 🤭) who just disappeared one day. I’m guessing she was taken by a hawk. That was easier for me to handle than my Silkies, though, because their heads were mauled...

Sounds like you had a rough time! 😥 I hope you’re doing better! Wishing you luck! 🍀
Yes, those cochins are hilarious! Mine are very personable and always are the first to waddle up to me. 😁 And they’re so fluffy! That’s a funny comparison. 😆 I love it.
Feel free to look at my forum (which I consider a great success story 😉): Raising my first batch of bantam chicks!
Can we see pictures of your babies?!
