Thanks, everyone. Peggy and Iris are doing well. They're still not keen on treats but did have a nibble on some broccoli recently. Slowly, slowly... They make me smile every day :-)

Thank you so much for the welcomes and advice everyone. I'm definitely trying to get them used to me. I picked them both up for a little while today and although they panicked at first, they settled down. As for treats, I'll keep trying. They shunned greens and rice, walked though porridge...
