    I have noticed my Pekin duck has a couple little white bumps inside her nostril. I don't know if I should be worried yet or not. I'm hoping they just slowly go away.

    Magpie ducks blue green spotting on beaks.

    I have a female Pekin duck which started laying eggs September 8th. Yesterday I noticed some black dots on her bill just all random like. She looks like someone decided to dot her bill using a sharpie permanent marker. She's still laying fine, she's eating grooming swimming like normal.

    I grew up on a farm and I only had one male duck that lived out in the pasture with the sheep. I think he thought he was a sheep...more like the leader of the sheep cuz in the winter I could see an orange bill and feet walking in the snow with sheep following. I'm just glad this is normal...

    Omlets for Ducks?

    Question: Is it ok to feed ducks omlets made up of foods that they are able to eat? If they can eat cooked eggs and other stuff why not combine it into omlets. This way the plants that taste a little strong to them can mellow out so they will eat it. Just a thought

    Now that you have mentioned it she has been doing this goofy head bob thing where her head and neck look like a question mark and she bobs her head up and down. She seems very excited to have me fill food dishes or water containers.

    I lost my Drake 2 weeks ago. I live in town and there is a limit as far as how many ducks I can have. She hasn't layed an egg yet though.
