How to stop the broodiness (Silkies)???
I have 8 Silkie hens and one rooster. Five of the hens have been broody in the nest for the last 8 weeks at least! I doubt it's very healthy for them to just sit in the nest box all day long. I have tried throwing them out in the morning and shutting the door so they can't go back in. They will...- Pertalote

I ordered 7 ducklings from Meyer Hatchery. Something must have gone wrong during shipping because the ducklings took 3 days to arrive. 3 were DOA. One died about an hour after I got them home. Of the remaining 3 ducklings, one lived on for 3 weeks but just never grew, and eventually just died...
