They all have light orange/yellow legs except my bigger one. That’s exactly where I was thinking welsummer! Would the Orpington/australorp mix cause that pattern though?
Have you checked for mites? Our new chicks and hen weren’t thriving and kept having the full crop issue too until I realized they had mites so bad they were falling off them! Now I’ve sprayed everyone with permethrin and we are thriving. :) I hope you can figure it out. :)
I bought ten chicks and a hen from someone out of the paper, well they had mites and after treating them and my whole flock they seem to be doing better, but anyway the guy tried to tell me they are australorp and Orpington mix, I think they look more like a welsummer mix. What do you all think...
