okay it’s been over a week and She is a lot better but not fully healed yet and I’m not sure how much longer she will be until she is fully healed,, should I be worried or is this normal for quail?
I can now effectively hold Oak back and her feet but my nail clippers just won’t go through her nails currently I am using regular human nail clippers do I need any special kind for hers??
Okay update she is doing better her leg is now responsive she just isn’t standing on it probably because it hurts to do so

Now my dad thinks she sprained it but we aren’t really sure, her left leg isn’t responding but it looks the same, it doesn’t seem to hurt much since she can move around now just not very effectively, she still eats her food and water and has gone into her sand box, we don’t think it’s broken it...

It was pretty hard opening my quails beak to give her that medicine and I really just couldn’t get it open long enough to put the syringe in so I just put it on some kale and she ate it and is acting how she did when the vet gave it to her so I’m assuming putting her medicine on kale works
She is eating fine now that I crushed up her food and she is alone and drinking plenty of water so she should be good if it gets bad I’ll take her to the vet
