Update on my eggs! (Day 7 Candle). 17 Buff Orpington out of 21.
2 Cochin Bantam out of 3.
1 Barred Rock Bantam out of 2.
The ones I pulled out were clear so maybe they were just infertile! Didn't do an eggtopsy.
Should have kept up with this forum instead of leaving for a few days! Haha, I have had a lot of work to do but hopefully will be able to keep up again! My eggs are on Day 5!!
So along with what I have in my incubator I now have 2 broody hens that are sitting on eggs! A Buff Silkie Bantam with 3 Buff Orpington eggs under her and a Swedish Flower hen with 3 Buff Orpington eggs, 1 Easter Egger egg, and 1 of her own eggs.
Hi everyone! 2 broody hens here for the start of Spring!! One is a Buff Silkie bantam hen sitting on 3 Buff Orpington eggs and the other is a Swedish Flower hen sitting on 3 Buff Orpington eggs, 1 Easter Egger egg, and 1 of her own eggs!
Hi everyone! I am using the Little Giant 9300 Still Air Incubator to hatch my eggs! I just bought this incubator, I had a 9200 before this one. I set 21 Buff Orpington eggs, 3 Black Cochin Bantam eggs, and 2 Barred Rock Bantam eggs on 3-20-16. Post what your incubating, and pictures when they...
If you want an incubator that you can "set and forget" I would go with the 1502 GQF Sportsman Cabinet Incubator! It will hold plenty of eggs and it is digital.
@jrc85I hope he is. I got him for free and was told he is 2 1\2 years old. Yes my wife and kids sang old red when picking his name.
I have a 5 or 6 year old Barred Rock Bantam rooster that still gets the job done!
Yes I have calibrated and I incubate to much! Haha! I just got this incubator but my last was a Little Giant 9200 and I would always have 100% hatch rates after learning the incubator.
I hope I can join this Hatch-A-Long even though I set my eggs 5 minutes ago in the incubator! 26 eggs: 21 Buff Orpington, 3 Black Cochin Bantam, 2 Barred Rock Bantam! P.S, when I took this picture the temperature was still coming back up to normal.
