    Thank you. She just struggles with it now. Loves mica. I got a nesting box mix of herbs and flowers that are supposed to help. She gets really flooffy when she needs to lay but it will take the entire night before she can finally lay.

    Not really. I live in an area where specialists are extremely uncommon. The only one that I know isn’t willing to do risky things like that on chickens. I am just hoping that she will be fine and in time stop laying naturally. Without the loss of her life of course.

    The other thing that you might want to start doing is getting food grade diatomaceous earth and mixing it in with the soil they bathe in with clean ash. This is a great preventative for lice, fleas, and ticks. Plus the ash is good for them to eat and helps with their internal health. Also...
