    Did you keep them in the coop for about a week or two? I have a cage and a coop connected to it. I kept my first group of chickens in the coop for 2 week then let them out. They got used to the environment. So when it was time for them to lay eggs, they would lay them in the coop

    @gander007 next time if I am allowed to, I am going to get a brooding hen so the magic will happen without me until the day comes

    I already cracked them. They were both dead. I really hope my parents will let me try again with some americnas. Don't be alarmed. I am a farmer in training. I'm not old enough to move out sorry

    Well I had to crack 5 of my eggs. It was really sad. It looked like 3 of the eggs weren't fully developed. And the other two had dead babies inside. It was really disappointing. But I really took it better than expected. I only cried for about 1 minuite! Should I check the rest?

    Ok here it is! I took the bottom out on the 22 day. Just incase they do hatch. I heard a lot of people that so I just wanted to try it out. inside outside

    I am using an little giant forced air incubator. I didn't try to incubate the eggs with my hens because, they've never layed on their eggs and incubated them before. So I started out easy.
