    When to Eggspect our first edible egg?

    Our little bunch (2 Austrolarps, 2 Delawares and 1 something spotted) just started laying: yesterday 2 eggs and 1 today. Wahoo! We free range during the day. Should we keep them in their run and coop for a few days to make sure they keep depositing them where we can find them?

    I've wondered about her getting too much of the antibiotic cream too. I know she gets some because it spreads around as she moves.     Sammi update: No news is good news, I hope. She seems stable, no major changes the last couple of days. She still eating good but still not able to stand much or get around very well.     Thank you tiki244 I'll pick up the probiotics at the same time as the meds. I feel a little odd about giving her eggs:/ reminds me of an Old Far Side catroon of a chicken needing eggs for a recipe and looking at her nest... I'm off to the feed store with my print out. Wish me success!
