The chickens love it, and so do the pigs. They got into it and ate half a bag before I noticed :/ My girls have picked back up laying. We went from 0-1 a day to 5-7 since we have switched!

Hi all- I have a silkie mix rooster (Plymouth Barred Rock maybe) that is 3-4 months old and needs a home. My Bantam rooster won't leave him alone. He has had a crooked neck since hatch but it hasn't affected his health at all. He is an interesting little guy. Free in Syracuse (Onondaga...

I asked directly and it's definitely non gmo. Just didn't think to ask if it's organic. If you scroll back about 9 or 10 pages nutty said it's organically grown. Not sure if that means certified organic, or not, or that was a different feed .

I'm pretty sure they said its organic. Can anyone confirm? I know it's non gmo. Mel- I remember the chicks!! So funny that was well before we ever thought we would have land or animala. We just wanted the experience of hatching with the kids. We didn't know about different breeds back then. Do...

Well, feed trip aside..... Hi everyone. We live in the Onondaga Hill part of Syracuse. We are knew to chickens as of this past summer when we bought our first place with property. We started with 4 BCM, added 5 Plymouth Barred Rock, then 2 Golden Comets, then 2 Partridge Rocks, then some...

Rancher- totally depends how much you would want. If you just want a bag or two I'd just charge per trip. If you want a lot I'd do per bag. Not looking to get rich, obviously want everyone to benefit from the cost savings Nutty is offering. Just trying to offset my own gas for the trip.

    NY chicken lover!!!!

Hi everyone. I'm Paula from Syracuse. I'm a big lurker, not so much a poster. I saw Nutty's post about feed and since we have layers, and soon to be piglets I plan to make a run down their to stock up on 100lb bags of feed since it is so inexpensive!!! I know there are a few other people...

    Silkie question

I got some eggs from a friend. Mom is def a silkie. Dad could be silkie or another unknown breed. The eggs hatched. All have black skin and feathered feet. They are 1 week and developing wing feathers. (Not visible in pic) Does that mean they are a mix?
