    Easter Egger Pullet or Roo?

Absolutely! Ophelia's eggs show the blue best in the nest box with natural lighting.

    Easter Egger Pullet or Roo?

Yes I am thrilled her eggs are a different color than our other Easter egger. Now impatiently waiting on our Speckled Sussex and Golden Laced Wyandotte girls to start laying. Photo of Peppa's green eggs top and Ophelia's blue eggs bottom (not very blue looking in the photo).

    Easter Egger Pullet or Roo?

Thank you I was not looking forward to having to re-home her if she was a he. Her original name was Pepita (due to the pumpkin color) but our grand-daughter was calling her Peppa and it stuck.

Very pretty bird and I'm still fairly new here too. Welcome! :)

    Easter Egger Pullet or Roo?

I was concerned since I'd read somewhere about pointed ends on feathers being a Roo and also Peppa's legs at 15 weeks are larger than my 15 mo old easter egger hen (the one in my profile pic). Very glad she is 100% a pullet.

Integrating chicks into flock at 4 weeks old.

Unfortunately, she hasn't done it again. Now she just runs at them and they run away.

Best bedding for wet muddy run

Same here with the tree service, the chips we get from the service who has the PUD contract are wonderful. Unfortunately, now everyone wants them and there is a list you need to be on.

Integrating chicks into flock at 4 weeks old.

Chicks are six weeks old today. They are doing fantastic. Some warmer dry days finally here so they have been going out for supervised ranging. Ophelia isn't very friendly toward them she puts her wings out sideways and forward with her head down and makes noises I've never heard before. The...
