My chickens have an infestation of little flea looking bugs. They stick there and is very hard to remove them.
They also jump on people and go to the face by the ears. On the chickens they stick to the neck and head.I use flea drops
and spray, the one used for dogs. Seems like they are less but...
Roosters are the easiest to introduce to the flock. I have done it twice. Now the problem with roos is they like to wake up and crow at the earliest hours of the morning
