I am moving...How do I transport my chickens?
I am moving in a few days and I have been reading posts about how to transport chickens. I have two White Plymouth Rock chickens. I read to find a box they would fit snugly in and put holes in it for air or find a cat carrier. They will be in the car for about 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Is that too long...- poohberri04

my chickens have started clucking!
I have two White Plymouth Rock chickens (Lucy and Ethel) who just turned 12 weeks. They started trying to cluck last week and are now no longer doing the cute little peep peeps. But everyone says when they start to cluck means they will start laying eggs...but its a little early still no...- poohberri04

4-5 week old chicks
These are the first chicks I've ever tried raising and am doing surprisingly well if I do say so myself. We are currently building up our backyard and have not purchased a coop yet. The guy I talked to at the feed store said not to put them outside until 7-8 weeks. And where I live it still gets...- poohberri04
