People have been going to the Council meetings speaking on behalf of chickens the last couple months. There are more of us planning on going to the July 15th meeting to speak. The tentative date for the Council to discuss the workshop is going to be at the August 12th meeting.
They are doing a workshop on it right now. When they open up the meetings to the public they will have an open session for people to come in and show support. Dont email or call the 326 number, that just goes to the city clerk, most council members have their cell phones listed on the website.
Already got the ball rolling just need support and people to call their council members in all Wards of the city and to come to the council meeting and express support when they call for public opinion.
No date set yet, they are having a workshop on it. I will update when I know. Just need people to contact their council member and express their support.
