Well, actually that an odd story. I called this mobile vet (no one in my area would check her)...he said that she wasn’t really ready to be euthanized, so he gave an anti worm med, vitamin shot and took blood. I have had her here, now in a bathroom, force-feeding for three days now . At his...
Hi Ol.....

Hello there,
Nellie is about four and five years I believe (I inherited her with my house) and I am not sure when her last egg was laid, she has four other sisters. They were not hand raised but she allows me to hold and check her. Her poop is runny and was green but now is yellow.
Hi everyone,
Just an update to Nellie's condition. She doesn't want to be touched, doesn't want to walk outside her cage. She's eaten some slivers of cantelope and one gulp of water. That's it. Is she dying? Can I do anything else to make her feel comfortable? How long does she have?

well, here I am, back from the market... I tried the yogurt, rubbing some on her beak. She tasted it, stood up and pooped. Not wanting anymore yogurt, but maybe later..
I also felt her crop and there was nothing hard or squishy...crossing my fingers
sigh
My lovely Australorp, Nellie, is in a dog crate in my home office. As advised, I separated her from her sisters after she was limping and being pecked about. She hasn't pooped since I moved her, hasn't eaten; this morning I tried to hand feed her fresh scrambled eggs. Was not have any of this...
