    One of my geese has a hard, irregular lump more than an inch long (sideways) and maybe half that wide -- a few inches down her neck from the gander above, but on her right side as his is. It was not there 35 hours ago. Thoughts? She is not sick -- seems bright-eyed, etc.

    When that picture was taken there were about 130 chickens. I could tell many of them apart -- a few of the hens and most of the roosters have names.
