Sounds like my geese. Definitely don't need a gazillion of those. Are the nests hard to find? Or do they lay certain places?I haven't let mine hatch any, but they love to collect a huge clutch or eggs (as in, 20+) and start sitting. I had a couple broodies I had to chase off nests for a few weeks.

Very nice flocks. I love when the males help out raising the young.Entry #2 -- A silkie flock: Martha hatched the chicks, but Midget helps out -- while Jude protects them all and even takes a turn warming the chicks.
