I made my mind up, I am ordering one too, I really think it will be a great thing and no worries about my heat lamp being on while im at work ,much safer in my opinion...
I would say top one is Ameracauna or EE hard to tell from distance... bottom most likely a EE.... I breed RIR I dont think top one is.. If you canget closer pics it would help..:))
I only see one light sussex, the other one has no black in tail , neck or wings to be light sussex.. I would say the one with black markings looks like a female...
OMG, I never thought but I guess the mass production is part of reason to get these crossbreeds.. Funny though, I hatched probably 10-15 chicks only, this is the only one that I have that is laying the green eggs, although I sold about 8 pullets before they were laying, who knows what they have...

The hawks here have not taken the chicken.. they seem to kill and eat on spot.. One of my girls was a cochin bantam so I understand she is easy target, but another one was a easter egger and a hefty girl..Found both on ground, half eaten.... so horrible.. UGHH! Im thinking what I can change in...
