Yea that looks a lot like mine. I have a lot of chipmunk looking ones. A couple silver ones. They all seem very healthy and active, so I am pleased with that part but I was hoping for some other fowl
I got my box today. 51 chicks, none DOA, but no ducks or other fowl. I was really hoping for ducks. I guess this means I must order another box later in the year.
I know it's a pretty penny.our house already had it in Kansas.it actually broke earlier this summer and we about died. We all moved down to the basement it was so hot upstairs. I plan on never moving again so it might be something I'd consider. Although I think I'd rather get solar panels.
I'm thinking we might need to get one for next year. When we looked at our house it was early April and still snowing, so i didn't even think to ask about one. We get here in June and started wondering where the ac is. In New Mexico we had a swamp cooler and in Kansas we had central air. The...
I was looking at the temperature in Kansas today, and I'm so glad we moved before the real heat got there. They've been in a great advisory all week. I think your office needs an air conditioner! Our house doesn't have one and some days I definitely wish it did.
I'm so sorry to hear that! My prayers are with you and your family. We are just finishing up our coop, but we could probably take them. We just have chicks now. How many? I live about 40 miles east of Colorado Springs
If he's the one that cats for the chickens in the winter time is definitely keep him around ha ha. That's my least favorite pay about chicken keeping ha ha
I contimplated but decided not to this time. I just got 50 chicks from them last Friday. I prefer large fowl but for a price like that I'd gladly add some bantams
Oh well than I was mislead by an article on the internet. Shocker! Thank you for clarifying. All of my chicks are still surviving and seem to be really thriving. Ideal is even sending me a couple replacement birds for the ones that didn't make it. I have been pretty impressed with their customer...
I looked them up and I was surprised to see they are a child hardy bird. Do yours get sunburned? Cause I saw a picture of some with bright red necks. How funny
This is the first time I had chicks shipped to me. Overall I am happy with how they've been acting. Of course they were extremely thirsty when I got them out. A couple didn't make it, but I expected that. It looks like I got a pretty good variety, so I'm happy about that.
