Just wanted to say thank you to everyone in this thread for helping me get this far with my flock(s). These 2 have come a long way in 3 months & it's directly due to all the help y'all were kind enough to share with me. I am so delighted with how well these 2 are turning out, especially Memnoch. We got our chicks that we ordered from ideal today. I'm so excited. It looks like we got a pretty good variety. About 5 naked necks which I am extremely excited about. I'm not sure how they'll do in winter though. I might have to knit them a scarf lol lol

Congrats! They look happy and healthy!!!! Yep, I too wondered how to keep a naked neck warm in winter! I thought of putting some kind of knitted or crocheted cowl (sp) necked scarf on them! lol

This is the first time I had chicks shipped to me. Overall I am happy with how they've been acting. Of course they were extremely thirsty when I got them out. A couple didn't make it, but I expected that. It looks like I got a pretty good variety, so I'm happy about that.
