    SICK ROOSTER

    I have to agree the welsummers are brilliant layers and i get really dark eggs from mine ... I love my gorgeous rooster a lot ...!

    Does anyone know, if i got some chicks from a friend that she hatched herself and brought them home into a pen inside would it be ok to put one of my non-broody hens in with them would she become broody or vicious?? please help, thank you

    Hi sawdust could be good as you can even it out and its soft too.Make sure you buy it though cause sawdust from your shed could have nails etc.. hope this helps
