Help re: chicks please

Does anyone know, if i got some chicks from a friend that she hatched herself and brought them home into a pen inside would it be ok to put one of my non-broody hens in with them would she become broody or vicious?? please help, thank you

Unless your hen is broody she will attack the chicks and could possibly kill them. Rather raise them yourself and introduce them to the flock when they are older, 3 months + and can handle a bit of bullying. Some people put the young chicks in a separate area within the existing run/coop for a few weeks so the older chickens can get used to them before letting them mingle. This make integration easier when the time comes.
