All framed in just a few finishing touches and hopefully will get it painted before the wife gets back. If it's not painted I dont really care but I know she likes the red and white ones so planned on doing that for her.

Yes its raised a liitle lol 1/2ft one side 1ft the other. Getting the bottom level was a long process our ground is roack hard and not level so took abit of time to get it level.

Quick question before I start cutting. My design has the nest box at floor level with just a small lip does this work or do I need different placement?

LOL this is what my dad did in his hunting cabin, that I was going to implement in wifescoop he used a piece of roof flashing the bottles fit in perfect and was water tight. It was a wood cabin that we built from the trees on property so lighting was a must and easiest way to not burn lanterns...

I am making my wifes out of osb but planning on eventually wraping and siding it, but in the mean time just painting it. I picked up some used inner tubes to cut up and use as a flexible flashing on hinged areas, to protect against the rain. Just an idea.

Yep it's a surprise, and I will probably get flogged for this but they have a full time 120lb protector. That thinks they are his babies and nothing gets close to their enclousure without his permission except mom and dad, the other dogs know how close they can get without getting a beating...

Hi all my wife is on vacation right now. Planning out a hen house for her, ran into a question. the 4 sq ft just the hen house? or does that include the run? We live in the city and she has 5 hens but they are talking about raising limit to 10 and if I know my wife she will get 5 more lol...
