    Hens eating their own eggs?!

Hello! I have about 15 hens in one of my coops. They've all been together since they were young. I have mostly New Hampshire Reds, a few Rhode Islands, and Brahmas. Recently, all about the age of a year or so. Lately, we have not been receiving any eggs! I couldn't figure it out for a while...

    My Chicken has Cancer

I'm so sorry to hear that! :/ I actually lost my favorite Roo to cancer. I wasn't aware at all that he even had it. He never showed signs. I'm glad you caught it. It is sad, my boy would eat and drink like no problem- and just one day I found out that he really wasn't doing so well. He was the...

Hen or a Rooster, maybe even what breed?

The white chicken has silver legs with five toes. I'm leaning towards some sort of Polish. I don't know much about these kinds of birds, it also has the V-shaped comb but with little color in it. The The other bird has four toes, pea comb and is very bright and red.

The chicken in the front hasn't shown any signs of being a rooster like the other one. He crows, attempts...

Anybody have any ideas as to what this is?

Hi! We just rescued this pretty little girl a few weeks back, now she is about 10 weeks old. She's super friendly, and loves attention. We rescued her from some pretty horrible conditions, and fell in love. She's a tad on the small side, but makes up for it with her large attitude. The problem...

    Rooster Separation Anxiety?

Thanks everybody! He's starting to get better, though he's still attached. He's starting to learn to "hang out" with his own kind. But still follows me around like a puppy. He's calmed down quite a lot. lol, he still screams at me when I walk by, but he gets over it. He recenty took to a rabbit...

    Rooster Separation Anxiety?

I have a young Rooster, named Putney. I recently purchased him, and he has seemed to taken to me. Didn't expect this at all. He's fairly young, but is mature. During the morning when I feed he gets quite excited and crowds me (doesn't even pay attention to the hens) and attempts to jump on me...
