Red Neck Coop
because it's part of the Trailer house.
The porch is on the front of the Moble Home. There were just 4 x 4
underneath it. So I decided to box it in and in one corner have a 5'
6' coop. My carpenter skills are very limited, so keeping it simple. I
learned a lot from BYC...
We have a wild bambo patch so I was able to cut some bambo and wire them to the top to the chicken wire. It helped support their feet, yet the poop still fell thru.

Got the Chicks (RIR's 6ea) 1 March. After reading of other members success I opened up the nesting box yesterday. Today July 18th we got our first egg. At least a month sooner than I had expected. Redneck/PVC Coop
My RIR's are about 20 weeks old. I just went out and inspected the coop and found n0 eggs. I opened up the two nesting boxes and put golf balls in there, so now they have a place ready when ever their ready.
