Hi
I have one little 10ml bottle of ivermectin 1%, please tell me the doses for my bantams and light breed appenzellers as I am lost with all the different strengths etc.
Thanks :0)
How long should it take for mites or lice to go after treating them?
How can I tell the difference between lice and mites?
Why is the DE food grade that I am using not getting results? Someone said it is because DE will not kill lice but I'm all out of ideas until I go for the frontline...
Hi there
Thank you for replying.
I can't tell which way her vent is facing, I am fairly inexperienced with ducks, I tried to find the vent but couldn't feel where it was.
I lalso ooked up duck anatomy too to see where the reproductive parts were in relation to her spine, this was to...
Hi there
You may be able to help me, I have a point of lay cayuga duck with wry tail, will she have problems laying do you know?
Our drake is treading her, that's why the wings are looking ruffled, they are not deformed at all.
I don't want her to suffer and will put her to sleep if there...
I have a lovely point of lay cayuga girl that has wry tail, it didn't look too bad when she hatched but has gradually got worse over time.
The drake is treading her and she is eating and pooing just fine, she seems really happy and healthy but I can't find any information to help me decide...
Hi there
We are in North Hampshire England UK
Sorry I would be unable to ship abroad, for the welfare of the animals, I would prefer collection from our home, sorry.
Thank you, I have left a message on the answerphone of a Kathryn Horsey or something like that who is 45 mins away from me, if necessary I can take a bird to her for testing.
Once again, thank you for your help, I don't feel quite so powerless now :0)
That is really sweet of you, thank you very much I will do.
The problem is that the sickest bird is the first hatched, my autisitic son's pet, I will probably choose the next one in line to cull and continue to isolate the symtomatic sick ones :0(
Thank you for your advice, I had heard that kerasine and liquid parafin mixed could help so sounds like the same type of thing if they ever re occur.
I have already started asking about for an avian vet but can't find one yet. I'm tempted to take one to Sparsholt college to see if they can...
Hi guys,
Thank you for all the information and the web addresses, I've been looking at them.
Vventilation is now good, I think possibly it may have not been sufficient before, they had large holes in their coup but the weather is a lot warmer now and they need more air inside. I have...
I have disabled children and we hatched some rare breed chickens last year as a hobby and it's been lovely up until now.
All has been fine up until now, the coop has been regularly cleaned and they have a massive aviary to themselves and are let out for an hour or two a day to keep the lawn...
