Totally agree with neaggie. Our ducklings shuffle backwards most times before they poop, so 'if' you were prepared to constantly watch them and react every time they pooped you may be able to condition them to prefer to poop in a particular location. I think they would need to be able to access...
Thank you! :D we've only got the 'lings, no other pets, so it's amazing how calm they were next to such a big dog. He was even sniffing their bottoms at one point lol!
I know it's too late for the contest but Pumpkin loves to stretch out her leg and it's sooooo cute...
She often stretches her leg over her sister, that's even cuter! Just haven't managed to catch a snap of it yet

Ah I'm glad it helped :) we had a similar problem as we really wanted white campbells, we tried incubating eggs as we wanted imprinted ducklings but the hatch wasn't successful.
We're very happy now with our babies and wouldn't swap them for the world! They've found the new pet cushion I...
We got our two ducklings at 5 days old, they're maybe not imprinted but they bonded with us straight away, they follow us around and love being cuddled!
We're not too fussed with the distinction between imprinting and bonding, as long as they love us! Which they certainly seem to :)
