Hi, i would let her settle down, i had this problem and i shut the door and she soon settled down and sat back on her eggs, if she still continues to break the eggs after a minute or 2 take the eggs out and place them in an incubator if you have one

Hi, I recently purchased 2 pairs of indian fantails. I knew nothing about fantails or anything. I started to read up on them, but still have some unasnwered questions. I was wondering if someone could help me.
1) do you have to seperate out the males?
2) How do you get them to breed and lay...
the first hatched this morning and the second one hasnt, when i picked it up it felt like it was strying break out there was a bit of movement as well. is this chick too weak to get out?
