    but... Mother hens do turn their eggs but you usually don't see them do it because they feel vulnerable at that time and they will not do it if there is any threat whatsoever even if they trust you they still don't

    you can keep them together and as or the heightthat should only be 12-16 inches becaue at 2 feet they can build up enough speed to hurt themselves if they are scared

    The best method that I have found is the heater cave method https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/956958/mama-heating-pad-in-the-brooder-picture-heavy-update this is a very intricate design so you could probably make it easier

    I would wait a couple hours to make sure that the incubator stays steady and store them pointy side down until you put them in

    Quail are pretty easy to hatch and you donn need much experience
