    I guess I should also add that it'll be for 6 guineas, 6 banties, and 4 standard chickens that are all currently brooding together in my house.

    I ordered this night and I think it'll work great as an outdoor brooder. I won't be finishing them in this, because it's far too small for that. I have a larger run area for when they're ready to be seen and not touched by the established flock. This would just be to get them a bit bigger yet...

    I just got these 2 today from Atwoods and they were just labeled as geese. No breed info at all. I'm thinking Tolouse, but any breed identification help would be awesome. Either way, we're in love!

    Ok so my chicks are about 5 weeks old now and I'm ready to move them out to the coop. The problem is we're not done constructing the run yet. Can I move them to the large coop for a week or so while we finish building the run? They're getting super cramped in their little brooder.

    Mine will be coming from Ideal Poultry in 2 weeks. I'll let you know how they arrived. I'm hoping they'll be in good shape.

    It absolutely does! Granted my guy did the brunt of the work, but I did a lot of it too.
