    It just sucks I was so excited to have my first Wyandotte. This is why I’m taking as much precaution as possible before giving him away to my friend.

    So I’m so sorry if that’s frustrating but I would love to understand more! Just because I truly love this bird. I don’t understand the pattern difference cause I feel like he has a pattern.

    I absolutely hate to admit this, and I feel so dumb, but I honestly still don’t understand what I’m looking. Like I can definitely see the tail feathers, but the pattern part throws me for a loop.

    There really hasn’t been much difference in his comb and wattles in the past month. I took the below photos on May 8th. At least I feel like it hasn’t changed much but I’m not an expert.

    We noticed it last month on May 8th. But no crowing, very gentile and loves cuddles… not hostile or aggressive with any of my other chickens… just not typical roo behavior so I’m completely confused haha

    I have 20-22 week old chickens. I got them around March 14th and than the blue egg layer on March 26th.
