Would someone be able to help me with my duckling breeds?

Quote: We originally had 12 eggs from him. 3 weren't fertile, one developed fine until the end, but never hatched. I guess it is possible that those were the Khaki Campbell eggs that he gave us. Our one duckling is a bit darker, with no yellow, and brown beak and feet, I thought maybe that...

Would someone be able to help me with my duckling breeds?

We have 8 adorable ducklings that we hatched almost a week ago. We got the eggs from a local hatchery. I know he gave us some khaki campbell eggs, but I'm not sure what else he gave us. We have... 2 very black ones, with black feet and beaks - Do they look like Black Swedish ducklings? 1...

    Cracked Eggs day 19??????????????

I don't have enough experience to comment, other than to say, don't give up on them. We had an egg with a slight crack in it from the beginning. It was right at the air sac, and slightly affected the shape of the air sac, but "Crackers" hatched out perfectly on day 28

First time hatching Khaki duck eggs. Due April 28th, help?

Exactly 36 hours after he first piped, our first duckling hatched! Just about the time I was convinced something was wrong because nothing had happened in that whole time. We have 6 more that have piped after him, so hoping to see some more little ones tomorrow. Still waiting for pips from...

First time hatching Khaki duck eggs. Due April 28th, help?

5 out of 9 have piped now, but still none are zipping to get out of there! One of them piped on the end of the egg opposite of the air sac. Is that normal?

Our second one has piped now, but nothing else from the first one that did right before lunch. There are lots of sweet little peep sounds coming from someone! Hoping there is some progress when I wake up tomorrow. I assume everything is still on schedule ??? but this sure is a slow process...

First time hatching Khaki duck eggs. Due April 28th, help?

I was going to stop checking my eggs for awhile because I was just worrying about nothing happening, but we have our first pip!!! And the way some of the other eggs are jiggling around hopefully we will have more soon! How long after your first pip until you saw more progress?

First time hatching Khaki duck eggs. Due April 28th, help?

Sounds great! I will be interested in knowing how it turns out for you! I am trying not to worry about our eggs, but I am so anxious to see something happen. We switched them to a different incubator part way through because the first one wouldn't stay regulated. Twice the temp went up to...

First time hatching Khaki duck eggs. Due April 28th, help?

How are your eggs doing??? Ours are due the 28th also. We have 9, which were all doing well when we candled them several days ago. This is the first time we have hatched eggs and I am so nervous we are doing something wrong and none of them will make it! We've seen nearly all of the eggs...

Should we switch to a better incubator?

I have spent hours reading from this forum, and have learned a lot from you all. (Thanks!) Now I have a question to ask you who are experienced. We are on day 6 of incubating our duck eggs, and so far 10 out of 12 eggs seem to be right on track when we candle them. (Yeah!!!) But my concern...
