    Im looking about getting into these funny birds. About culls.... what can be done with the rejects? Are their feathers good for pillows and stuffing jackets. How much meat is on them? Do they make good eggs? Im actually kind of serious... just looking for some other factors for keeping them...

    m.kitchengirl : Chief Rabbi of Israel wouldn't have any way to know whether it tastes like pork, or not. I am intrigued to hear if anyone else knows what this may be. I have had Muscovy MANY times & have never thought it tastes like pork. The Spanish are doing some crazy things with food...

    as far as temperament they weren't aggressive when i picked them up...they dont want any thing to do with me since they have been here...they dont pick on the pekin ducks in fact the ducks are such piggies i had to put some food in a higher place.

    black star / red star What you think?

    got these girls last night they are in quarantine cage for now. the guy said they were black star and red star im not sure but they are pretty girls. the red ones dont have the dappled look i was expecting. they do have some iridescent greenish streaks in the neck area.
