Final Update : Doña did not pull through. She died sometime last night. I made sure to bury her by a tree with her head pointed towards the lake in our backyard. That way, she can walk, swim, fly or run her way to where she is needed now most. ♥ I'm happy I got to be her mom for the few, short...
No. Same 4 hens since nearly three years ago. If all of her food does not want to come out, should I let her rest and try again in the morning? What's left is a small mass of food, it appears.
UPDATE : Tried massaging her crop after feeding her 2 tsps of coconut oil. It drained! Not completely, it seems. What does an empty crop feel like? If her crop was full and hard, does this mean she had an impacted crop? If so, what are my next steps?

Ampicillin at 0.05 ml every 24 hours. I will check now to see if her crop has emptied and update accordingly. Also, her abdomen for signs of discomfort.
Is there a ratio for mixing in the cranberry juice? I'm assuming this can also be overdone if not given correctly. On that note, can electrolytes be given, as well? What kind of meat would you recommend? Will anything go?
The antibiotic is Ampicillin. The dosage has been around 0.05 ml every 24...
Hello, everyone! Back again with a question in regards to the big, beautiful, black-feathered Doña.
Recently, this particular hen of mine has not been moving nearly as much as she used to. She will run towards me when I call my flock for treats if, and when, she is very far away but otherwise...
