The inside roost? I was thinking the same thing. I told hubby it looks like they will poop in the nesting boxes. He is going to move to center. He said he was trying to leave a bigger walking/flying area. Lol 😂 He’s silly. Thanks for the input. I love all the help on here.
My husband build our backyard coop on the ground. We live in south Florida so it’s a dirt sand floor. The coop/run is all covered. They do free range every day for a few to four hours or more so I think the coop is a good size for the 5 of them (used to have 6 but rooster was being mean to...
The babies have been very happy in this temp coop transition 🙌🏻😊
Looks like I may have 2 Golden Laced and 4 Silver Laced. I definitely think one of them is a Roo so far.
Good morning everyone,
Quick question. What is the best water feeder for warm weather climates. Isn’t there like a thermo water feeder? Something that keeps water cool on hot days. Like a Yeti water feeder 😂😂😂
Thanks in advance.
Just talked to the hubby and we’re going to use this little coop and run for the meantime since they are flying out of brooder box and my husband is building an entire new coop himself 😂. We’re thinking something more along the lines of these pictures….
Then we will clean, paint and sell this...
Ok. Thank you! I thought each bird would want a separate nest. I’m definitely going to increase the run more now. And figure out how to move roosts away from nest boxes. Dang. Should have asked all these questions before purchasing a coop. 😂🤦🏼♀️
Yes. Thanks for asking. Here is the run. We are adding another 2 or 3 feet of run area than it came with and we built a base. We didn’t like it on the ground as it was sold. We also have let them run around the fenced in yard sometimes for a while. I’m just getting worried I won’t be able to...
Really!? I wondered that too. I was told they were Golden Laced, but the “boy” at the store didn’t seem to have a lot of answers to my questions. Thank you.
