    My other silkie mixes have feathers coming in that look like typical wing feathers. I think the lady that had the parents had a frizzle as well so maybe that's what this is. She lets all of her chickens free range so there was no way of knowing what I was gonna get.

    Just wondering the breed. Silkie mix, but what will his feathers look like when he's older? The others have actual feathers and his are weird.

    I went out to check on her and the other chicks were standing on her and she couldn't get up :/ I'm syringe feeding her some water with probiotics and have her on a heating pad but I'm worried.

    This is what her stance looks like. She flaps her wings out and hobbles everywhere. I'm gonna try the cup therapy and maybe a smaller rubber band. She's really little.

    I have pine shavings in the brooder right now. I might try the cup!! Hers goes out to the side. Do you just do 30 minutes per day? I don't want to traumatize her! I was hoping this bunch would be my 'pet' chickens :P

    Wheb I was picking out chicks, there was one little cutie whose one leg was splayed out. It was said that her leg got caught in the turner but with the rubber band trick it should fix itself. A couple days later and I'm not seeing improvement. Is there anything else I can try? Maybe a smaller...

    They're supposed to be 7 weeks. They're a bit shy of me so I can't get super close yet for a better picture. They could be mixed with Dominique - they told me I was getting barred rock Dom crosses -shrug-

    These are my 4 chickens so far. I originally had 6 and the farm told me there were 2 Roos and 4 girls. Well, one of the hens and one rooster were killed by the neighbors dog when he got out. Now, looking at them I'm fairly certain there had to be 3 roosters because two in the back look like Roos...
