    Chickens can recover from some nasty wounds. I would give her a chance if it seems she's not suffering and is eating and drinking ok. You will know what the right thing to do is. I hope she pulls through for you.

    Lice and Mites

    You can put them in a pillowcase with there head out like shake n bake. I haven't tried this though. I think I would just sprinkle it on around there vents under wings and such but my chickens are tame. Just don't let them breathe in the dust. And sprinkle it in there pen and dusting area.

    What does infection look like? Looked at her ears but coundnt find a hole. note to self: read more on chicken anatomy. She seemed interested in scraps this morning. But still flipping her head as if trying to get something off. I bought sevin dust. Should I just use it?
