Lower the level of the pool and set brick's on the bottom and make an area they can stand on the water soaked brick. They do not like to get in water, wet feathers prevent them to cool down, Shade, cold water and a light breeze. They will be ok.
We have a limit of 6, no Roos. Luckily I live next to a bar, so noise is no problem. The girls make less noise than the pups in the neighborhood, most people stop to take a look through the fence. Good luck

I noticed that two of my hens have bald spots on the rear where the fluffy feathers are. the skin in not red no blood just some white skin. Is this normal, i've never noticed this before. They look healthy and acting normal. They are laying, will one year old this May.
