Hand turn the egg 2 times a day,I do not spray the eggs with water during incubation. When they hatch i dont give mealworms. If you have a other chick of any kind around same age put in with it too get it eating.Drop the duckling into brooder.Im not saying put it into brooder.Drop it onto shavings...
I would not buy anyones mandarin hatching eggs. For price of the eggs you can buy a pair, but some people like to try to do things themselves. Can anyone say 100% none will hatch? No.I have seen plenty off people hatch them.Ive seen more fail, ive also seen people fail hatching own eggs.
I wouldn't say all hatching eggs on ebay are bad.Alot of people have luck.I have a few pair of mandarins. They are very hard to incubate.I let all mine sit on eggs till last week then i finish in incubator.
I e been shipping like crazy, almost done!! Ive shipped a bunch from WI to ME and none cost that much. You using the big boxes? My 3 birds from WA cost me $135 to ship.Prolly from same person you got bufflehead from.I thought about getting some but spent alot this year! Lol
Ring teal seem harder to find this year.I have a extra hen this year.Seems hard to get rid of when shipping costs more than the bird!! Look around on facebook also
