    Mine LOVE the water like yours, all 6 of them will be in the coop and when i turn on the hose all I will hear is them flying and running over to play in the water. Mine also seem to come outside a lot when its raining too, i have to force them inside.

    Yeah, they are both cockerels. I just got 12 barnevelder eggs and hatched them. 7 hatched and 5 turned out to be cockerels.

    When i helped build my coop, we had the bottom half of the walls and door made of soild wood and the other half wire. That way the dogs couldnt see or break in.

    awesome chickens! I just got chickens for the first time. I have 7, but have to get rid of 5 because they turned out to be cockerels. =P
