Is this wafer thermostat just wired inline of the black wire? I am going to use it for my brooder light.

Thanks. I can do that because I already have the coop wired with a light that I use to offset the winter months for my current hens.

I'm new to this forum, but have had 10 Red Star Chickens for 2 years now. The first time, we raised the chicks with a brooder light above a baby swimming pool, surrounded by cardboard, in our basement. It worked great, except for the dust. I could not believe how much dust those little chicks...
