    That is currently what I am using. But only 21%The others that I have found is medicated. I am Missouri. I am going to look at a local feed store as well. But until then I will add mealworms.

    As for lighting they have a red heat lamp light(inside the coop box) plus direct sunlight depending what side of the coop they are on.

    We have tibetian tuxedos,pansy, fairy, and silver. A few of each. I am hoping adding in the mealworms will help add onto the protein. I can't find feed that is higher unfortunately.

I am looking at our states regulations but really not finding information regarding selling live quail. Is there a specific permit to sell chicks and adult quail? We are getting the $5.00...

    I am in Kansas City :) From what I was reading MO requires a permit if you are selling at farmers markets or some place other than your home and you have to grade the eggs :). You don't need a permit if you are just selling from your house. I will definitely go and check that out. Thank you!
