    Hello. Please may I ask for some help? We rescued 12 ex commercial hens in May. They all settled in well and feathered up nicely. We do not have any other hens. After about 8 weeks we noticed one girl became a little withdrawn and not mixing with the others. Sadly she died a few days later...

    Yes, I have 9 which I hatched myself (er, in an incubator!) 4 male, 4 female, plus Susan who we are not sure about. They are now 15 weeks old. The females combs have just started to turn dark pink which i am told is a sign they may soon come in to lay.
