Just wanted to update this.
In the last week and a half, have started getting 6-8 eggs a day.
Got 10 today, so they are starting to lay.
Warm weather and time must have helped.

I get it regularly from TSC, 2 bags at a time. The feed bin holds 2 bags, they go thru it in about a week. I've been feeding my chickens this feed for 10-12 yrs.
I don't free range them anymore, because they are building houses around us and predators killed all my older chickens last spring.

Yes, I feed them Purina layena. The same food I've been using for 10-15yrs.

Last fall I had two stray dogs get into our coop/run and kill 4 chickens.
I had 6 that were laying steady and all the others were 6-7months old and starting to lay a few. Total of 20-24 chickens.
